Cancelled--Chair Caning
Description:
Joins naturalist Debbie Haubert for this series of programs to learn how to cane a chair. The craft of applying rattan cane or rattan peel to a piece of furniture such as the backs or seats of chairs is caning. This skill can help you repair a chair or bench you may have at home. If you have a chair or bench you want to repair, please email a photo of the seat to debbie@sanduskycountyparks.com. You do not need to have a chair to learn this skill. Registration is required. Fee of $10. Session dates are June 16, 23, and 30.
