Sensory Play Saturday - Snowmen
Attention parents of toddlers: have you ever wanted to do sensory play activities with your child, but it looked like too much prep time or too big of a mess? You are in luck!
We will be hosting sensory play days at Creek Bend Farm the first Saturday of each month. The January program will be snowmen themed and have opportunities for your child to explore and learn about nature using all five senses. Your child will also be making a craft and a small snack will be provided.
Registration is required, and please register only the child.

Bald Eagle Nest Monitoring
Have binoculars or a spotting scope collecting dust? Here is a great opportunity to clean them off and participate in a citizen scientist project! We are looking for volunteers to help us monitor the eagle nests in our county. This training session will guide you through the natural history and life cycle of bald eagles. The requirements of this monitoring project and assignment of nests will also be covered. Registration is required. Volunteers for this project must be at least 16 years of age.

Winter Spa Day
Beat the cold this winter with some tropical fun. Spend the morning at Creek Bend Farm learning how to make your own tropical-themed self-care products. We will be making coconut lime lip balm, orange body scrub, honey and Vitamin E face cream, and a mango green tea bath soak. For ages 12 and up. Registration is required. $10 program fee.

Spilling the Tea
Spilling the Tea is held on the fourth Wednesday of each month. Enjoy an afternoon tea in the Homestead House learning about life in the 1950s. Each month will focus on a different tea and a new year. Read diary entries, search through old photographs and letters to get a glimpse of our past. January will focus on 1950. Registration is required.
