Sensory Play Saturday - National Trails Day

Attention parents of toddlers: have you ever wanted to do sensory play activities with your child, but it looked like too much prep time or too big of a mess? You are in luck!
We will be hosting sensory play days at Creek Bend Farm the first Saturday of each month. The June program will be National Trails Day themed and have opportunities for your child to explore and learn using all five senses. Your child will also be making a craft and a small snack will be provided.
Registration is required, and please register only the child.

Farm to Market

Join us at the Park District’s Farm to Market event for a day of hands-on fun and community connection. Discover where your food comes from at this hands-on, family-friendly event! Learn how food grows and gets to market. Plant your own pumpkin, milk our pretend cow, toss a cow pie, and enjoy shopping with local vendors offering homemade goods.

Spilling the Tea

Spilling the Tea is held on the fourth Wednesday of each month. Enjoy an afternoon tea in the Homestead House learning about life in the 1950s. Each month will focus on a different tea and a new year. Read diary entries, search through old photographs and letters to get a glimpse of our past. June will focus on 1955. Registration is required.

CAMP-OUT at the Nature Center

Camp on the front lawn of the Wilson Nature Center and experience the park after dark. Campers will cook their own dinners, go exploring after dark, and campout in tents. Before leaving, campers will make their own breakfast. Ages 10-12. Registration required.

Lindsey Sunflower Festival Partner Site

Creek Bend Farm is once again, excited to be part of the Sunflower Festival as a partner site with the Village of Lindsey, Ohio.

Stop by Creek Bend Farm during the Lindsey Sunflower Festival for hands-on activities, interactive games, and time to enjoy nature in a relaxed, family-friendly space.

Shuttles will be traveling between Creek Bend Farm and the Sunflower Festival.
