Title: Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist
Description: The OCVN training program provides a balanced, integrated and practical course in natural resource science. Participants will learn about the biology, ecology and natural history of Ohio from Park District staff as well as many of the state's leading experts. Participants will become part of a local and statewide network of dedicated volunteers and be able to apply their talents and passion to protecting, restoring and understanding Ohio's natural treasures. Course fee is $100. This includes all program materials, instruction, and snacks. Payment is due at the time of registration. Classes will meet every Tuesday, 6:00pm - 9:00pm (April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 May 7, 14, 21, 28) and some Saturday 9:00am-3:00pm (April 6, May 4, 18).
